The Legend of Wisely 1987

Wisely, the famous writer/adventurer, is tricked by his friend (played by Teddy Robin Kwan, the film's director)into helping him steal the dragon pearl. Sam Hui plays Wisely in this big budget HK movie, with production units filming some scenes by the Great Pyramids, and many scenes in Nepal. There are car chases and crashes, chases by horsemen and plenty of fights along the way. The Legend of Wisely is a live action comic book. A lot of effort went into making this movie, and it shows as Wisely goes from one hazard to another, a HK version of Indiana Jones.

One Piece: Giant Mecha Soldier of Karakuri Castle 2006

The Straw Hats visits an island, known as Mecha Island, where a fisherman sings an old folk song about a Golden Crown. The island's leader, Ratchet, impressed with the find and in search of the Golden Crown himself, invites the crew to join him in his search and the crew along with Ratchet and his henchmen enter the cave. As it turns out, the islands true form, is that of a giant turtle. Ratchet, who had known this all along, uses his mechanical castle to take control of the turtle, in order to use it, to take over the world. Now the Straw Hats have to stop not only Ratchet, but also the helpless turtle, from crashing into a nearby island.

NBS 24/7

NBS 24/7 was a television program produced by Kestrel Communications on Speed Channel. Every Monday, the show profiled some of the crews and drivers of NASCAR's Busch Series. Each 30-minute episode gave a look, not just at those profiled during races, but behind-the-scenes as well. Two of the many drivers looked at on the show include Casey Atwood and David Stremme. The show premiered in February 2004, and was a replacement for the failed Inside NBS, which was cancelled after just one season.

Rocketship 7

Rocketship 7 was a children's television series that aired weekday mornings on WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York from 1962 to 1978 and from 1992 to 1993. The host of the show was Dave Thomas, who had joined WKBW in 1961. Promo the Robot was the show's other main on-air character. The person inside Promo the Robot was, for several years, Johnny Banazak. Rocketship 7 featured segments with Thomas and Promo along with cartoons and other short programs such as Davey and Goliath, and Gumby. Thomas left the station in 1978 to join WPVI in Philadelphia, where he assumed the name "Dave Roberts". When Roberts left, WKBW canceled Rocketship 7. When The Commander Tom Show was cancelled in 1991, WKBW decided to continue the "Commander Tom" character of Tom Jolls by reviving Rocketship 7 as a weekly Saturday morning series. Airing at 7 AM, Captain Mike Randall assumed hosting duties for this version of the show with his sidekick, Yeoman Bob, with Commander Tom Jolls, Promo the Robot, and Captain Comic making guest appearances. According to a recent Facebook post by Mike Randall, "In January 1992 The NEW Rocketship 7 debuted on WKBW-TV IN Buffalo, NY. Created & Written by Bob Stilson. The Show Starred Mike Randall as Captain Mike, Bob Stilson as Yoeman Bob, Tom Jolls as Commander Tom, John Di Sciullo as Mr. Lucky, Charlie Mikolajczyk as Admiral Promo The Robot, Kathy Randall As Thema Louise."

K-tai Investigator 7

K-tai Investigator 7 is a 2008 Japanese television drama which aired from April 2, 2008 to March 18, 2009. It was a joint collaboration between WIZ and Production I.G. Directed by Takashi Miike, it is described as a science fiction tokusatsu action drama. It was replaced in its time slot by an animated cartoon, Mainichi Kaasan, after it ended. A second series titled K-tai Investigator 7: Next was distributed online beginning in May 2009.

7-Color Mask

7-Color Mask is the name and title character of a tokusatsu TV series, later called New 7-Color Mask. It was created by Kōhan Kawauchi, who also created Moonlight Mask. This B&W TV show was the first superhero TV series by Toei Company Ltd.. It was broadcast on NET from June 3, 1959 to June 30, 1960, with a total of 57 episodes divided into 7 segments. Aside from being Toei's first superhero show, this series was also the debut of actor Sonny Chiba, who was 19 at the time, who took over the title role from Susumu Wajima after Episode 32. The hero of this series is a young detective named Kotarō Ran, unknown to anyone, is a master of disguise, utilizing 7 different personalities. Most of his disguises are odd characters, like a magician and a cigar-smoking Indian, but Kotarō's 7th disguise is the 2-gun-toting caped, golden-masked superhero, 7-Color Mask! This series was "remade" by creator Kawauchi in 1972 as Warrior of Love, Rainbowman, and it is also considered an inspiration behind Go Nagai's Cutey Honey.

I Love the '70s

I Love the '70s is a television mini-series produced by the BBC that examines the pop culture of the 1970s. It was broadcast in ten hour-long episodes, one dedicated to each year, with the first episode, I Love 1970, premiering on BBC Two on 22 July 2000, and the last, I Love 1979, premiering on 23 September 2000. On the original broadcasts, each episode was followed by the host introducing a film from that particular year. The series proved successful and thus was followed by two similar series, I Love the '80s and I Love the '90s, both of which aired during 2001. The "I Love..."-series spawned a US version, aired by VH-1. Part of the series was repeated in the spring of 2012 on BBC Two as part of a special season dedicated to the 1970s. The episode 'I Love 1975" is the only episode that suffered technical problems, and as concluded as part of the years that the BBC suffered problems.

7de Laan is a South African Afrikaans soap opera with some English and Zulu dialogue in between. It features English subtitles. It started in 2000 and is broadcast evenings on SABC 2 from Monday to Friday at 18:27-19:00. It is set in and around the fictional Sewende Laan in the suburb of Hillside, Johannesburg where all the characters live or work. The street and shopfronts which are featured on the opening visuals, are that of Seventh Street in Melville, Johannesburg. Sewende Laan was originally broadcast from Monday to Thursday, then later broadcast on Fridays as well, as a daily soap. Ratings are generally around the 2 million mark according to tvsa.co.za. A milestone was reached on 9 May 2013 when the 3000th episode was broadcast.

Vagabond 7

The Vagabond 7 is a reality TV show on MCD that documents the lives of seven current college students who are given concert tickets and VIP access to high profile music events with an objective to capture the concert atmosphere and artist interaction on their individual handheld video camera. The “Vagabond 7” interactive website features cast profiles, event clips, original artist content, deleted scenes and audition tapes.

Class of 74

Class of '74 was a secondary school-based, daily soap opera produced by the Reg Grundy Organisation and screened on the Seven Network in Australia starting March 1974. The main characters were a mix of teachers and other school personnel, and students. The series was aimed at a teenage audience. Each episode was 30 minutes; five episodes each week were broadcast, stripped across week nights in an early evening timeslot. The series was renamed Class of '75 for its second and final year. It also switched from black and white to colour during its second year on air. Principal cast members included Leonard Teale, John Hamblin, Gordon Glenwright, Jeanie Drynan, Anne Louise Lambert, Megan Williams, Joanne Samuel, Carla Hoogeveen, John Dietrich, Jan Kingsbury, Vince Martin, Judy Ferris, Carol Vincent-Smythe, Kevin Miles, Mark Hollis; and in 1975 Abigail, Peta Toppano, Peter Bensley, Briony Behets, Angela Punch-McGregor, Peter Flett, Marty Rhone, Anne Charleston. Cast members Teale, Hamblin and Glenwright continued the program's entire run.

7 Days

7 Days is a program that ran on the Speed Channel starting in February 2006 that shows the views of the NASCAR world. The program follows someone related to NASCAR for seven days. The program was broadcast weekly and was approximately 30 minutes in length. The subjects in 7 Days include crew chiefs, drivers, fans, track workers and shop workers. Among those shown in 7 Days were J. J. Yeley, Denny Hamlin, Doug Richard, Buffy Waltrip, Boris Said, Carl Edwards and Martin Truex Jr. In 2007, the show was canceled by the Speed Channel, and replaced with Survival of the Fastest.
