Digimon: The Movie 2000

The first story focused on Tai and Kari Kamiya four years before their adventure in the Digital World. It shows their first encounter with Digimon and what happened to them (as well as the other children). Tai and Kari wake one morning to find a Digi-Egg that came out of their computer the night before and the egg soon hatches, revealing a Botamon. The Digimon then evolves into Koromon and then Agumon (not the same one that became friends with Tai in the series, and yet, somehow, both Koromon and Kari remember each other), who then goes out and unintentionally destroys a good part of the neighborhood with Kari riding on his back. A second Digi-Egg appears in the sky to reveal an evil digimon, Parrotmon. Agumon then Digivolves to Greymon but isn't strong enough to beat Parrotmon and is knocked out. Tai grabs Kari's whistle and wakes up Greymon, who defeats Parrotmon and disappears with him.

Movies, Games and Videos was a television programme shown on ITV in the United Kingdom on Saturdays during the 1990s and early 2000s. The show reviewed new releases of movies, games and videos, and was originally voiced by Steve Priestley. It was produced by production company Capricorn Programmes for London Weekend Television who syndicated the programme to a variety of countries. Local broadcasters were sent scripts and given the option to re-voice programme content if required. Though initially successful, the show was gradually dropped by most regions until it was only being shown in Northern Ireland by the local contractor UTV. It also included reviews of new games systems, video game creators and conventions/shows. A short-lived spin-off magazine was also produced.

Movies for Guys Who Like Movies is a TBS program that ran from 1999-2002. It paired the greatest guy movies with high doses of adrenaline and cool locales in its successful weekly showcase. During breaks in the movies, hosts provided entertaining segments packed with behind-the-scenes movie and production information, trivia and cool stunts. These stunts included engaging the enemy in simulated dogfights, piloting a Navy LCAC Hovercraft and practicing with world famous martial artists. Behind-the-scenes information included interviews, such as one by Karyn Bryant with Arnold Schwarzenegger for his movie Total Recall.

Dinner and a Movie was a cooking and entertainment television program produced in the U.S. by TBS from 1995 to 2011. Each episode included a movie and the preparation of a creative dinner to go with the theme of the movie, generally via a pun. For example, an episode showing Drumline features a recipe titled "The Beets Go On", referencing the Sonny & Cher single "The Beat Goes On", as well as the plot of the movie about a drummer who tries to fit in with a new marching band. The show was hosted by chef Claud Mann and comedian Paul Gilmartin as well as Annabelle Gurwitch from 1996-2002, Lisa Kushell from 2002-2005 and Janet Varney from 2005 to the show's end in 2011. The program aired under various names. Its original hosts were Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times and WLS-TV and Gene Siskel of the Chicago Tribune and WBBM-TV. Richard Roeper of the Sun-Times became Ebert's regular partner in 2000 after Siskel died in 1999. Ebert suspended his appearances in 2006 for treatment of thyroid cancer, with various guest hosts substituting for him. From April to August 2008, Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune cohosted. Starting on September 6, 2008, E! Entertainment Television film critic and reporter Ben Lyons and Sirius Satellite Radio host and former co-host of The Young Turks and current Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz took over as hosts. On August 5, 2009, it was announced that Michael Phillips would return to the show along with New York Times film critic A. O. Scott on September 5, 2009. During its run with Siskel and Ebert as hosts, the series was nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards seven times and also for Outstanding Information Series, the last nomination occurring in 1997. It was widely known for the "thumbs up/thumbs down" review summaries given during Siskel's and Ebert's tenures. The show aired in syndication in the United States and on CTV in Canada; the show also aired throughout the week on the cable network ReelzChannel.
